Aviation People

Branding & Websites

Aviation People needed a brand that pilots and engineers would trust on sight. Halt created the identity and a website that moves the way aviation does, helicopters and all.

Aviation People

Aviation People connects elite aviation professionals with the operators who need them, across recruitment, training and IR35 compliance. David Dewey and Matthew Startin came to Halt with a clear vision and an audience who know the industry inside out. Halt built the brand and the website from the ground up, including an interface that flies as beautifully as the sector it serves.

The Brief

Aviation is a close-knit world, and it recognises its own. David Dewey and Matthew Startin were building a business staffed by active aviation professionals, people who have spent real time in the cockpit, the hangar and the field, and that first-hand knowledge sits at the heart of the offer.

Their audience is pilots, engineers and operators who can tell in seconds whether a company truly understands their world, so the brand had to speak the language fluently. It also had to hold three things together at once: recruitment, training, and the community the founders were building, all in one place and all feeling like one business.

The founders had one more ambition, and it was the fun one. They wanted a site with real personality, something people in the industry would remember and talk about.

Our Actions

Halt built the brand around precision and trust, the two qualities aviation runs on, in a visual language that reads as authentically aviation to the people who live it every day. The identity was made to stretch comfortably across recruitment, training and community while staying unmistakably one brand.

The site is built around the three pillars of the business: Recruit and Manage, Training and Advice, and Connect, the WhatsApp community that brings pilots, engineers and operators together. That structure lets every visitor find their own path quickly, whether they are an operator looking for crew or a pilot looking for their next assignment.

The Interface

This is where the project really took off. The founders wanted a site that felt like aviation, so the interface became part of the brand itself.

Halt built a side-swiping interface with motion running all the way through it, including animated helicopters that travel across the screen as you navigate. Moving sideways through the site gives the whole experience a real sense of travel and momentum, and it suits the subject perfectly.

The craft is in the balance. The movement sets the tone and holds attention, while everything a pilot or an operator needs stays a click away. It is a site people remember, and it gives the founders something to talk about the moment they share the link.
