After five years running OA's marketing, Halt was trusted with their biggest project yet, a brand refresh and a state of the art website.

OA Recruitment has spent more than thirty years placing permanent, temporary and executive talent for clients including H&M, Makita and Booker. Halt has worked alongside Laura Clark and her marketing team since 2021. That relationship led to OA’s most ambitious digital project to date: the move from Osborne Appointments to OA, a full brand refresh, and a state of the art website.
OA came to Halt with the biggest project the business had taken on, and three things had to happen at once, each one depending on the others.
The first was the name. Osborne Appointments carried thirty years of history and real recognition, and moving to OA meant keeping every bit of that equity while stepping into something more contemporary. A name change is among the most delicate things a business can do, particularly when the old name is well regarded and widely known.
The second was the brand, which needed refreshing to match the new name and to reflect the business OA had become: a partner to major national employers, grown well beyond its local agency roots.
The third was the website, and the ambition here was clear. OA wanted something state of the art, capable of carrying permanent, temporary, high-volume and executive hiring, embedded teams and a London healthcare division, with job search, CV registration and client brief submission all working properly.
Laura Clark, Paige Leggett and Hannah Burge led the project from the OA side and stayed close to every stage of it.
Chris Cranshaw oversaw the strategy and direction, setting out how the name change, the brand refresh and the website should work together. Matthew Ley, George Cook and Jess Allen then delivered the project.
The website was built to match the ambition. Every service has its proper place, from permanent and temporary staffing through to high-volume campaigns, embedded teams and executive search. Candidates can search roles and register a CV easily, clients can submit a brief in a few clicks, and the resource hub gives OA somewhere of their own to publish. The testimonials and client logos are given the prominence they have earned, because thirty years of relationships with brands like H&M and Charles Tyrwhitt is the most persuasive thing OA can show a prospect.
Throughout it all, Laura, Paige and Hannah worked hand in hand with the Halt team, which is a large part of why a project of this size landed so well.
“I could not recommend the team at Halt enough. I have loved working alongside you all on this project and your continuous support and expertise has just been incredible!! Thank you all for exceeding our expectations and making this vision come to life!!”
