Background
Founded in 2018, Talentspot Recruitment are a Dublin based, startup tech recruitment consultancy. Both founders were keen to participate in the design process to help create a brand that would work with clients and candidates, but also attract future hires as the company scaled, in what is a relatively small, but noisy market.
The Brief
As a startup recruitment business, this brief required an end-to-end branding design solution that included, logo discovery, design, iconology, colours and fonts all the way through to creating PowerPoint templates, social media avatar banners and even mobile phone wallpaper and desktop screen savers.
Our Process
We spent time understanding what Talentspot wanted to represent in Ireland’s technology and recruitment ecosystems and we tailored a detailed questionnaire to help capture this information to shape our starting point.
From there, six unique logo and brand concepts we created, and through consulting with the founders, key elements from two preferred concepts were pulled together to create the final logo and branding.
The Outcome
Talentspot were keen to steer away from the use of photographs in their branding, so extensive iconology was created with highly technical feel that tied in with their areas of vertical market specialisation and detail orientated approach.
